GetDescriptionsPlainText

Returns the PlainText of the Description Set specified by this user for this property.

Use this function to get the description for the specified property. The description is returned is text only. If it contains HTML or is blank, please contact the user and request that they update the listing content of the Description Set assigned to this property for your Booking Agent channel.



Pass the following parameters:

  • APIUsername (String)
  • APIPassword (String)
  • PropertyID (integer)

If HTML is what you are looking for, use the get description function called "GetDescriptions"



Error Responses:

  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Validation Error 1
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Validation Error 2 - Property has been deleted from the system
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Validation Error 2
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Error - DataSet not Populated
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Error - The description is blank
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Error - No Description Set Assigned
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Error - The PropertyID MUST be greater than zero
  • GetDescriptionsPlainText: Error - Unknown
